I’m Yesenia Faiella, the Mama behind Mama of Both Worlds! I’m a mama to two energetic, fun-loving boys and wife to my partner in crime, life, and business. I love sipping on vanilla chai tea lattes, I wish professional traveler was my job title, and I recently realized I’m not a fan of heels after all!
In a nutshell, I’m a mama turned business owner! I’d like to take a minute and thank my firstborn son, Noah, for lighting a fire in me that I didn’t even know existed! Becoming a Mama changes you and challenges you and opens you up to emotions and feelings you never even knew existed within you!
Four+ years ago I took a leap of faith and quit my job to become my own boss. I left my [very comfy] state job as an Attorney without a sizeable safety net to fall back on or an established business already in existence. What I did have was a dream, passion, and a plan!
Since then, I’ve successfully grown a six-figure business and launched a second – Mama of Both Worlds! As my own boss, I have the ability to really be a part of both worlds – the working world and the stay-at-home mom world. It’s something that I don’t take for granted. It’s also something that I know other mamas would enjoy too if only they had the support, tools, and the how-to on getting started!
Mama of Both Worlds was born from a place of love, passion, and a desire to connect with other mamas. What started as a place for me to share relatable motherhood stories and sound business advice has now turned into something so much more! I’m sharing it all in the hopes that my life experiences can save you time and hardships! Starting a business isn’t easy, but it’s so worthwhile! I do what I do in the hopes that I’m able to help other mamas, who are looking to take the plunge, find success in a world where motherhood and business collide.
1. Every night for the past 13 years, I have slept with the stuffed animal my husband gifted me our first Valentine’s Day together.
2. The farthest I’ve travelled was to Bali, Indonesia! We spent 15 glorious days there for our honeymoon and it truly was the trip of a lifetime!
3. We didn’t find out the gender of our first babe! That feeling when they pulled him out and said “It’s a Boy!” will stay with me forever!
